Francesca is a respected art advisor with 20 years of experience in the industry. After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree (Hons.) majoring in Art History at the University of Sydney, Francesca joined international auction house Sotheby’s in 2005, where she became Aboriginal Art specialist. In 2010 she established the Aboriginal Art department at Bonhams, one of the world’s oldest and largest auction houses. She has handled the sales of exceptional works by some of Australia’s leading Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists. Her broad knowledge of the Australian art market, her professionalism and her ethical approach to provenance have earned her an excellent reputation in the field. She is a member of the Art Consulting Association of Australia.

Francesca has been instrumental in the sales of some of Australia’s most important single-owner collections such as:

She has international art market experience, regularly working with Australian collectors to consign works to salerooms in London, New York and Hong Kong to achieve outstanding results.
